Bow Summit S Glades

Went to Bow Summit today to poke around and maybe get a little skiing in (kept hopes low). At 10:00AM at the parking lot temperature was 1C with consistent light snow. Headed to the Bow South Glades and noticed wind affected snow and melt/freeze crust all along the ridge with strong winds and air temp of -2C. Glade skiing was better than expected! Snow was varied between crust and soft on the E aspect we skied, with a small windslab present near the ridge. On return to car, temps were warm again (0C) and the morning snow had melted.
Dug a pit @2340m E aspect, ECTX. 60cm snowpack, 60-40 was isothermal slab sitting on crust, 40-30cm facets, 30-Ground was consolidated (frozen?) facets. Old size 1.5 Avalanche in the bowl skiers right of our lines likely from the previous week.
Good day with some PMA!
