Great tour up Andromache and down Molar glacier. Hector headwall is in decent shape to get up to the valley. Little Hector hasn’t yet ripped in the slab by area and significant cornices threaten the uptrack up Hector as usual. No slab on S aspect going up Andromache. Had loose dries to 1.5 going down Molar - 40cm of unconsolidated pow easily slid on the prior wind slab interface and had mass (but easily manageable) - this however was on 45degree N facing terrain. Probed over 3m on the glacier. Sunny all day with light winds that kept the snow cool and dry. Pic of Hector attached for planning purposes - couple cracks visible. Didn’t need either ski or boot crampons today.
