Snowpack
The snowpack on Jackson Peak East Face is 50cm-1m of facets 2-5mm in size. I dug a quick hand pit to have a look (10'300 ft, E aspect, 26 degree slope, HS 1m) I did not perform a stability test because there was not a distinguishable weak layer or hardness change. This layer is probably going to be the future weak layer! After this forecasted snow, I truly believe that there will be enough Lemons associated with this particular snow pack that Led Zeppelin could write another song about it! Keep it mellow, we have a long winter ahead of us!
