Winter on blackomb glacier

First time up blackomb backcountry this season and there is hope for 2024! We found about 15cm of new light powder above 2000m which remained cold and mostly unconsolidated with little wind affect throughout the day. New snow resting upon supportive wind affected snow from the previous storm cycle, making for really nice turns on lower angle slopes. Still a bit thin on body bag so we exited back down the glacier.
