Hollyburn sunset lap

The afternoon was surprisingly warm (compared to the cold this past weekend) but the snow is still very cold and dry. Skin track felt like styrofoam on the way up. The powder is mediocre: not very thick, and breaks in big cold blocks in some areas (though it didn’t form any kind of large slabs from what I observed). I only skied trees which was nice and open near the summit, but lower down there’s still a lot of bushes and exposed logs to trip you up. One more snowfall and Hollyburn will be perfect!
