Quick Observation
Polar aspects are skiing extremely well above 1900 (cement crust below 30cm of dry powder). Solar was heavier and not as fun but not terrible. Around ridgetops the wind has scoured some surfaces clean and that made for challenging skinning and skiing. No large/connected wind slabs observed. Surface hoar is growing, and is now up to size 1cm. Probed Spearhead Glacier at the toe and found 130cm height of snow. Probed again in the middle and found 180cm. Lots and lots of holes visible and many more sags observed. We roped up.
