Huckleberry Hut area

1800m elevation - NE aspect. 220 cm deep (near road and trees). We did a single column test. Ths new storm slab fractured at elbow 5 on Dec 17 layer and fractured at shoulder 7 on the weak layer of Nov 17. We rode low angle trees and road, conservative terrain. Riding was good, no signs of new instability. We saw some 50cm+ crowns on convex role probably a few days old. On Dec 29, 30min rain drizzle created a skinny rain crust that got snowed on overnight 2-5cm at Huckleberry hut. We could feel the tiny crust to ~1750m of elevation
