Lizard laps

We stuck to fairly conservative terrain today, and rode low angle trees. There was good soft snow on north facing slopes. There was a sun crust on south and west facing slopes. We noticed a size 3 avalanche that had propagated along connected terrain below rock bands that looked a few days old.
