Quick Observation

Went for a walk to Bryant Lake area. Low visibility and snowfall at 1150m. See snowpack and weather tab for more info.

Weather

Slight snowfall and +1C at 1150 m as of 16:00. Rain at log cabin at 12:00.

Snowpack

Isothermal snowpack rounding snow grains. Snow profile dug down 132 cm (190 cm total HS). Top 30 cm is wet progressing to moist further down. Early winter melt freeze crust down 101 cm. Hardness is Knife throughout until 122 cm down becomes Pencil. Potential old facet layer at 60 cm down was seen causing a resistant planar fracture on an extra hard compression test.
