Quick Observation
Numerous Sz 1 Natural Slab Avalanches both out-of-bounds and inbounds from last night. Crown depths were consistently 30cm. At some point last night there was a warm trend as we had a melt-freeze crust down 5cm all the way to 1300m. Test results were stubborn but we still got sudden results down 30cm. Minimal wide effect as there was only 5cm on top of the crust. We suspect that changes drastically where the crust isn’t. At the top of Brockton we could see numerous Sz 1.5 to 2 avalanches past the 2nd avalanche signage. Natural slab avalanches that ran last night. Ski out is in great shape, snowpack was 150cm at 1150m and many slopes were above threshold above that elevation but still below Treeline.
