We went up to Wolverine Ridge for some quick laps and dug a pit before we entered the main slope. Overall the snowpack seemed pretty stable: compression test showed two weak layers, the bottom one being consistent with the Nov 30 crust, but both were fairly hard to trigger and it wasn't a clean break. NE slopes were moderately to very wind affected. We rode SE and there was no crust or wind effect, just very nice powder all the way down to the valley bottom.
