Harvey Pass

Great skiing in harvey pass. Snow was starting to stiffen up a little with the wind in the open area below the notch. Above the notch it was pretty much untouched light fluffy snow with about 20cm ski pen. Probed a snow depth at ridge top of about 130cm and you could feel a weak crust approximately 100cm down. We did not dig a pit. We skied some mellow open runs with amazing snow before venturing onto more committing terrain. No signs of recent avalanches. Most of the day we couldn't see the mountain top and there were moderate winds out of the NNE.
