more snow at Silvern Lakes!

Today we rode at Silvern Lakes. There was up to 20 cm of new snow in the last 48 hours making for excellent riding conditions. Moderate westerly winds were redistributing the new snow and forming windslab in the alpine and treeline. The new storm snow is bonding well to last weeks rain crust down 30-50 cm . Temperatures were between -1 to -3. We observed no new avalanches.
