Hector South

Went up to the Hector S area today. Ski quality was pretty good, some wind effect at tree line but still reasonable skiing. 15cm average ski pen. Lots of Whumpfing especially up higher in rocky areas. Saw 2 Sz 1 windslabs in immediate lees but nothing else as far as avalanches in the area. That being said things definitely felt touchy and we kept to mellow slopes around 30 degrees or less and skied lines with lots of safe spots. Skiing out the draw was reasonable ish.
