Great day skiing up to Crystal Ridge Pass. The pass didn't appear to have slid on the November 5th layer yet and is a lovely combo of bony rock and wind slab so we elected to ski back down the front side. Skiing is great in areas that are protected from the wind and 5-10cm of powder on a supportive crust on windward faces. The supportive crust settled once on the way up when the two of us were regrouping.
Consistent wind at ridge top, mix of sun and cloud, temps around -5C. No recent avalanche activity observed.

Terrain Ridden
Alpine slopes, Dense trees, Mellow slopes, Open trees.
Avalanche Conditions
Whumpfing or drum-like sounds or shooting cracks.
