Up Hilda Valley, down Boundary Glacier. Elev. Range: 2000-3000m. Numerous LW and LD avalanches to sz 1.5 on all aspects from several days ago. Minor sluffing in steep N-facing terrain obs. in Hilda Valley. Snowpack layers varied throughout the area, with ALP solars having a number of MFcr bridging the upper snowpack. This provided good support for the final bootpack up to the col. On Boundary Glacier, HS ranged from 155-320+ with a right-side up snowpack. Strong winds from the past few days affected ski quality on Boundary Glacier, and it was tough to find good powder on the descent. On Lower Boundary Gl, the sneak-around on skier's left was well filled in, but there was a noticeable sag we worked around. Snow remained supportive at TL thanks to a great overnight freeze. Great skiing for the end of April in Jasper!
