Trorey cornice failure

zachwass2000, Sunday 26th March, 2023 9:20PM

Large cornice failure between Trorey and Decker. Size 2.5, some chunks as large as cars. Ran hundreds of meters. Looks like it happened in the last 24 hours (likely today during the strong sun). Didn't look like it propagated (but we were not very close to be sure). Notably, many people were skinning right up the gut of Decker under a similarly sized cornice. Lucky there was not a similar failure there as it would likely have been a multi fatality.
