Loud Pow

Nice little refresh on top of a supportive loud crust.
On a south aspect at 2100m there was 15-20cm of fresh fist snow on a 2.5cm crust. right below the crust there was evidence of 1-4 finger snow. New snow did not show any signs of instability in the form of slab or loose dry avalanches when tested in gully and convex features.
Low angle skiing on E-N aspects was far better than anything on steep or sun exposed slopes. Old tracks and pinwheels are frozen presenting hazardous skiing sometimes.
Overall better than expected you just had to find the right areas for some great turns.
