Chilly.Foggy.Pow.Fun !

Good day out in the Flathead today, with -11 at the Corbin staging, low cloud, and only light wind, even up at ridgetop. Touring around at Treeline, we saw no new avalanches, no signs of instability, and had no significant test results in a profile at 2000 m. We found 20 cm of soft snow, which continues to settle over a generally consolidated snowpack with no significant layers of concern. The full snow depth is still only 90 cm at 2000 m. Sharks abound ! There was no wind to speak of today, but this soft snow is available for transport if forecasted winds come up.
