Mountain Conditions Report
<p>Good skiing on Mt. Hector today.</p> <p>Overnight recovery was good -1 at 730am.<br /> With a dusting of new snow that helped the skinning.</p> <p>Travel up the creek and creek gulley was in good condition both up and down.</p> <p>Temps dropped to -10 up higher with 10-20cm of new snow. 300+cm on the glacier and still some open crevasses center and climbers right.</p> <p>Some wind effect and soft slab observed not reactive to skier traffic.</p> <p>The cornice on Little Hector has released sometime ago and taken the slope below with it but there is still a considerable chunk hanging.</p> <p>No new Avalanches observed today.</p> <p>Cold snow to 2500 a short section of corn and isothermal where not previously skier impacted below that.</p> <p>Still winter up high.
