Skied off north face of Zoa sub peek, skinned back up and headed home
Snow was heavy like mash potatoes, until 1600m where high winds had ruined any hope for good skiing
Winds blowing from most directions
Heavy snow started around 1pm snowing s3ish and winds had died down
New storm slab will likely be resting on wind slabs from last day or two at higher elevation based on what we saw today
Sorry no photos due to a disappointment in quality of skiing
Stayed in relatively simple terrain and saw no evidence of recent avalanches. Experienced lots of cracking in fresh snow and in small windslabs, no whoompfing

Terrain Ridden
Mellow slopes, Dense trees, Open trees.
Avalanche Conditions
Rapid temperature rise to near zero degrees or wet surface snow.
Snow Conditions
Crusty, Heavy, Wind affected.
Weather Conditions
