Gorge 15

<p>Excellent early season conditions. Rode thigh deep powder with a few face shots thrown in for good measure. Snowpack appeared fairly un consolidated at high elevation but began displaying slab characteristics, whumps, and cracking on the most recent storm layers (down 10-20cm) below 1600m. Definitely still the time of year for conservative terrain choices. Expect the whole snowpack to become more reactive with the rising temps and continuing storm. </p>
