*Apologies for naïve terminology and incomplete record*
Dug a pit at about 1650 m on the edge of the NW slope we wanted to ski
Dug down 160 cm (still didn't touch the ground, but we unfortunately didn't think of recording HS)
Incredibly homogeneous (could not find any layer)
Unconsolidated powder (fist) down the whole column with gently increasing density (right
side up)
No success with compression test (eventually got a very unclean partial shear near the end of the shoulder series)
We ski cut and then jumped on a convexity and did not get it to move
We avoided the summit of the false summit which was wind affected and started to feel a little slabby
Absolutely nothing moved as we skied down, even on short steep pitches

Terrain Ridden
Mellow slopes, Convex slopes, Steep slopes, Open trees.
Avalanche Conditions
30cm + of new snow, or significant drifting, or rain in the last 48 hours.
Snow Conditions
Deep powder.
Weather Conditions
Foggy.
