Great skiing at the pulpits 4-5. Dug pit at 2200m on north facing slope just below the wind affected snow at the ridge of pulpit 5: ECT18 down 30cm PC, no propagation, ECT26 down 90cm broken (Dec 2nd) did not propagate. Recent storm snow did not form slabs where we skied today (probably a different story in the alpine - we never got much above tree line and the features were pretty protected from the worst winds. There was an old (couple days) size 2 coming off extreme terrain off the head wall to the west of us, but it stopped on the skirts below and did not trigger anything else. Lots of people up there today skiing lots of lines, didn’t see/hear about anything more than the odd sluff off convex rolls. Winds were mild all day, died to hill in afternoon, broken cloud cover -3 at car by end of day. Overall great day.
