<p>Today we went to the Crowsnest Pass to get into the alpine and check out the effects the warm temperatures and sun were having.
There were several wet loose avalanches out of steep terrain. A few of these avalanches initiated slabs up to size 2 on solar-facing slopes.
We avoided overhead hazards like cornices and steep, solar slopes and made some nice turns down a shaded low angle slope. Hard to be unhappy with a day like that!
