Found a 20cm dense wind slab in South Shoulder Chute (aka: Corner Chute, The Dog Leg, etc - lookers left of Stem Couloir) and non-wind affected powder snow at treeline all the way to the valley bottom. The wind slab was non-reactive, it was slightly cooler today and I'm assuming that helped keep it still. Snow depths are still variable in the area but the commonly skied runs have seen a lot of traffic which is helping to keep core shots to a min. You can ski all the way to the valley bottom now but packed down areas are easier to follow in order not to find deadfall in the powder. Very limited obs as it was near white out most of the day.
