<p>Skied dolomite circuit.
Size 2 avalanche debris in the runouts of Dolomite when going up the creek, but it was at least days old, and stopped in the upper run-outs. We observed two cornice failures that caused size 2.5 to 3 avalanches. East and South aspects in the alpine.
We experienced no cracking or whoomphing. The snow in the alpine and exposed areas at treeline varies from lizard skin (goodish skiing in select spots) to mostly old hard and very hard wind effected snow. The best skiing is in very sheltered areas. Dolomite was mostly terrible for snow, even downhill travel jittered your bones (bumpy). Don’t go here.
Weather was good, high cloud, warm temperatures, but windy (strong at ridge top).
