<p>Some wind Slab present in the alpine, especially on cross loaded slopes. Set off one small Slab in cleavage couloir as pictured. Snow below 1400m quickly turns to the heaviest of mashed potatoes</p>

Alpine slopes, Dense trees, Mellow slopes, Open trees, Steep slopes.

Terrain Avoided

Convex slopes.

Avalanche Conditions

30cm + of new snow, or significant drifting, or rain in the last 48 hours.

Whumpfing or drum-like sounds or shooting cracks.

Snow Conditions

Deep powder, Heavy.

Weather Conditions

Cloudy, Foggy, Warm, Windy.
