<p>Went out for a training day for aspiring ski guides, put on by Jordy Shepard and BCA.
We skied up to tree line, and spent the day in low alpine terrain. We were careful to use terrain that posed minimal overhead hazards (some cornices in the area) and were mindful of the size and angle of the terrain we were using. We used some small rocky areas to practice technical rope systems. The ski out to valley bottom was good, with lots of light new snow to enjoy in the forest.
Check the weather and avalanche tabs for additional info.
A big thanks to Jordy and BCA!
