<p>Excellent day skiing light consistant powder near Harvey Pass.
=======
35cm new snow at 1800m. snowpack depth (HS) approx 280cm at 1800m.
(Note: fernie ski hill got 50cm new at a slightly lower elevation). Brief flurry at midday deposited dusting of graupel.
=======
This 35cm arrived without wind, but covers previously wind affected surface ... cornices / wind slab / wind loading still visible under the storm snow. Could still feel 'em with our skis + poles
=======
No natural avalanche activity observed anywhere (good vis today), no results ski cutting, almost no sluffing while skiing.
=======
Mostly overcast all day except for a couple of 15-minute glimpses of sun / blue sky .... stayed cold on north aspects, but expect there was moistening + surface consolidation on sun facing slopes.
