Conditions were much better than expected. Around 20-30cm powder in untouched areas after the weekend storm. Similar to previous MIN saying leeward slopes were best with North to NE aspects measuring about 60cm deep. Continual light snowing all day, probs 3-5cm while we were touring. No signs of instability. Didn't go into the alpine because snow was best around and below treeline, very wind-affected up higher, especially on East facing slopes. ~6cm wind slabs on East-facing slopes we found on the skin track. Snow on surrounding peaks appeared fairly thin in the alpine as well.
