some mt. Wash slack country. We skied the east bowl , then back up and down burnt (NE ) ridge and spur above McKay lake to boomerang chair. We had about 15cm of new snow, mostly from Friday on to of the hard firm crust that's formed for the past couple weeks. As expected since it has stayed cold, it was not bonded well and was touchy on the hard crust. We found a number of human triggered small slides. We stuck to lower angled trees and smaller slopes. The forecasted 15-30cm Sunday night into Monday will make things even spicier. The new snow was light enough that we still scraped on the hard crust below. And quite thin in the larger trees.
