<p>Bit of a rain crust to about 1200m on top of new snow. At treeline, I'd call it ~60cms of new fluffy snow, but unfortunately, as seems to be the story of this winter, above treeline it was severely wind affected. Not as bad as two weeks ago when this happened, but not great. Grabby skiing. Distribution/depth also quite variable in the alpine.
Mild reactivity on steep rolls and isolated wind slabs. Saw one intentionally triggered 0.5 on a steep roll, tried to trigger a bigger one myself and it wouldn't go.
Evidence of small naturals to size 1, with one bigger crown (2) on the West face of Sky Pilot.
