Deep at hanging lake
Sea To Sky

Great skiing on all aspects. Many people skiing steep pitches without results aside from some remote triggers on unsupported slopes(see avalanche tab). Most mellower runs were quickly tracked. Probably 10cm of new snow through the day with the sun coming out briefly in the morning
Adding to other min on skier remote trigger above hanging lake. 2 large size 1s observed on unsupported slopes occurred between 12 and 1:30 both seemingly remote trigger. The first was a large ~1m thick crown triggered on a convex slope above a cliff with the debris running 100m down a 25-30° slope(not very deep). 2 photos below show this with on highlighting the crown and debris. The 2nd was around the same crown thickness with the debris running 15m and piling up again a tree on the flat bench below. Triggered a few size 0.5s in the trees, again only on unsupported slopes. Very hard to trigger on anything less than 35°
