Challenging travel up shovelnose creek with snowline starting the the Squamish valley road. FL ~1000m but heavy snow up to 1450m. HN~50-60cm making travel difficult on foot or on sleds.
Experienced multiple whumps while skinning the upper cut blocks. Rolls over the road were remotely triggered seemingly below the new storm snow as we walked past, with a wide propagation, see photo.
No obs above 1450m but snow quality was improving rapidly.
Just noticed another SR sz1 in left of picture 2 while reviewing this MIN. Slope angle <25deg.
