<p>While reviewing the weather stations this morning we noted significant inversion temperatures on the mount Bosworth Weather stations (upper bothworth at -1.6 around 4am). We bailed on plan A (situated under a major south facing avy path), opting instead for a casual day out on GG.
-13 degrees at the car at 7:15am.
-6 degrees at the car at 2pm.
Ice is hooked out, making for easier climbing at the grade, although ice was a bit brittle with the cooler temps. Pitch one take yellows screws or greater and is in great condition now.
15-20 cm of snow in the snowfields between pitches. No layers noted - facets only.
