Pro Tip from the Pass

We received some insider information from the pass that the area received 25cm of snow overnight. Turned out she was right and they got another 5cm in the few hours we were there. In our morning hazard analysis we decided we would avoid convexities even BTL because of the rapid loading rate leading to the possibility of slab avalanches. As soon as we got visibility today we saw a natural size 2 along a convexity above a terrain trap. See avalanche tab for details. We also observed many loose avalanches to size 1.5 out of the alpine and treeline.
