Confirming the obvious

haolekook, Wednesday 23rd October, 2024 9:33PM

Travelled up body bag bowl. One whoompf on moraine with some cracking, sort of expected. New snow sluffing and pin wheeling off of all sun exposed rocks. On to east col, skied part of Blackcomb glacier, no issues, cooler with mild N wind. Then to Spearhead col, easily triggered loose wet storm snow on traverse to guides notch. At 14:00 on Spearhead Glacier moist surface snow still skiing well, sun was on everything. Husume, a little wind pressed but skied well until exit apron, warm and gooey. Best turns of the day happened in the resort before 11:30. Pics of Natural Activity on Decker, occurred during the storm I'd guess. Hard to avoid the heat and sun obviously. Stay safe.
