Performed a snow compression test partway up first avalanche path. Snow depth 105 cm. CT21 sudden planar fracture down 40 cm.
Started sunny in the morning as lower clouds cleared off. Then started clouding over later morning with light snow increasing towards end of the day. Observed wind transfer at top of avalanche chutes. Not much wind at all in valley and on lower slopes. Beautiful day! Surprisingly warm at about -2 most of the day. Sun never got out too long to bake the snow. Stayed soft and fluffy.
Debris from a point release slide observed on NW aspect of Storm mountain outlier just on other side of highway at about 2200 m, maybe size 2.
