<p>Evidence of a natural storm cycle overnight and early morning below treeline. Suspecting the storm slab to be failing on Jan 5th surface hoar weak layer. Witnessed 2 whumpfs. Pulled back and avoided open steep trees. Skied lower angle slopes and dense trees.</p>
