Skied The Hallway off Goat Ridge today. Boot pack conditions were challenging with 60-80cm of boot penetration, and continual sloughs of graupel filling each step. Multiple soft slabs (Sz1 to 1.5) were released in the bottom of The Hallway, beaking below our skis.

Majority of the 15cm of new snow that fell between 11am and 3pm fell as graupel. The snowpack below has bonded well to the sun crust, where present, on steeper north facing terrain we found the crust to not be present.

Multiple soft slabs were released at the bottom of the hallway by ski cuts. One natural release of unknown size also released off the rocks above the couloir, nearly capturing one of skiers in the couloir.
