Flatiron Bowls

<p>We skied the bowls and trees to the east of Flatiron today. Conditions were mixed, not too crusty but that could change soon if the temperature drops. About 30-40 cms of new sitting on an older crust. Lots of wind transport. Quite heavy, though, since it was kind of warm, being only a few degrees below zero. Very stable, we dropped a couple of cornices that generated no reaction. Ski cuts produced nothing. A couple of small natural slides triggered by loaded snow from above were all we saw.</p>

Steep slopes, Convex slopes.

Crusty, Heavy, Hard, Wind affected.
