Jesse Aj Scotland, Saturday 8th February, 2025 10:38PM

Signs of instability found were one whoomf at 1500m. The next series of whoomfs with shooting cracks around 1800m. Skied steep open trees and supported features features, avoided over head from avy paths as there was moderate winds causing transport at tree line on the ridge. The Dec 7th is waking up and showing signs that weren't present in previous days in the area. (see Snowpack for pit results) Temp was - 2 at 1367m at 9:30am, temp was 2 degrees at 2pm. Snow become cohesive and Moist in the lower elevations closer to the road. Snowed 3cm over night at the road. And snowed another 5cm over the day with a slight clearing in the after noon. From my travels in the area during the last couple days I was not seeing any signs of instabilities previous till today. Most of the ne-e facing paths at tree line have slid to the lower run out zones during the last cycle. Leaving some of the gullies very thin and rocky and debris filled.
