Decent Sky Pilot skiing on a firm crust

The notice to bring crampons was definitely well placed. Climb up through the trees after the road around the Sky Pilot area was tough. Crampons or bootpacking were your options.
In the alpine the skiing was actually not bad, with ~10cm of new slightly wet powder snow sitting on the extremely hard crust. The trees didn't let the new snow through, so the skiing down through the trees was challenging but doable. The road out was soft snow and fine.

Weather Report

Vis wasn't great in the alpine but also not completely socked in. Light winds in the alpine, nothing in the treeline or below. Quite a bit more snow falling than I expected with the snow being relatively wet, but definitely not rain. Still snow at the gondola top, rain at the bottom.
Terrain Ridden
