Ice - Bearspirit

<p>**Approach is mostly snow free although icy in spots. The approach ice step is losing ice and in part has water over rock. Despite that two hikers still managed to get up it. **Left side has a tricky but fun slot. **Middle has a bit of a wet line left, thena dry groove, and a featured steep line right. The upper half also seemed to have more fracturing. **Right side had a good groove although kicks your upper body out beyond your feet down low before becoming easier. **Screws were better on the right than middle lines, not sure how good screws on the left were. **Far right ice near the walk off is bulked way out. The ice looked a bit wet and chandeliered but there did seem to be lines to be had. Nobody climbed it today. **General ice condition was good swings and little sun damage so far. I guess I've never been there so late in the season because a couple of us were surprised to note the climb gets sun until around noon now the sun is so high in the sky. My feeling is that the climb will continue to be ok with this morning sun as long as it gets a good overnight freeze. No problems there over the next weeks forecast at least.</p>
