soft slabs in the Fingers

We saw no wind slabs in Acidophilus, just the usual sluffing with new snow. There was wind slab in the top third of the Fingers, mostly 5-10 cm thick and not reactive, but in some places it was 15-20 cm with shooting cracks and some pieces sliding on faceted snow. Nothing propagated or slid very far, but it was enough to keep us off the slopes above the fingers, and keep us in the trees and off the slide paths in the upper steep parts of the fingers. Snow quality was great in the lower 2/3.
