We saw no avalanches but had lots of settling in on low angle terrain and shooting cracks on a convex roll. Dug a quick pit while waiting for the sun to come up and had results on a column test CT13 with 30cm of snow above a 2cm crust. Some areas only have 5-10 above the crust but more loaded features up to 30cm. Below the crust are lots of facets (4 finger) to the ground where they are moist. There were moderate east winds lower down in that valley but calm higher up.
