Skied the lower east facing gullies of Bow Summit, from the high ridge line before getting out in the open exposed faces. Dug a small pit on a mostly East facing slope (80 degree bearing), 30 degree slope angle. Result: HS: 200cm snow depth CTE8 non-planar collapse 12cm down (storm snow) CTH26 non-planar collapse on facets 125cm down. Pretty solid results, no major notes of instabilities on this slope. Had one whumpf amongst the trees on our ascent back up. Overhead hazard was a real concerning, then we watched the cornice at the very top of the cliff collapse on our descent to the parking lot (probably wind trigger), and pull a size 2.5 out into the main bowl beside the flower couloir. You can see the smoke cloud in 2nd photo
