<p>I am posting a couple of avalanche photos from today. These photos were taken by a pilot flying a route from Stave Lake NE towards Nahatlatch area. Apparently he saw a number of big avalanches deposits from the past few days. The attached photo was one of these large sz 3-4 avalanches that released recently on an early winter layer. I believe this may be the same slide reported yesterday by an avalanche forecaster as Mt Grainger.</p> <p>In addition to the avalanches the pilot on also reported visible rain tunnels up to 6000ft</p>
