Route to icefield not recommend

You would probably save time going the Saskatchewan route. The seracs were extremely active with multiple thunderous falls throught the day, the slopes off snowdome were raining rocks. This all pushes you into the crevasse field which is in just as bad shape. Bridging was extremely variable. Some bridges were deceptively hard to penetrate with a probe yet were only bridged by 10-15 of hard snow/ice. With conditions like this you will probably spend so much time probing a route through this minefield, you might as well have gone the Saskatchewan route (unless maybe you brought a ladder ?). 3 spearate groups attempted but did not make it passed the first crevasse field.
